Mechelle McDonald, MCMA, is a speaker, certified aromatherapist, CEO & founder of AmberL, an artisan skincare company in Nassau, Bahamas. She also has a background in environmental and business management.

 

Through AmberL, Mechelle is changing the narrative and perception of skin diseases by promoting the message of skin positivity and skin health.  Mechelle is also a member of the Complementary Medical Association in the UK which represents "the professional face of complementary medicine" and graduated in the first cohort of the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs in The Bahamas, where she won the AWEsome Award for being an encouraging light and promoting team spirit.

 

Mechelle’s passion for her business shines through wherever she goes, as she recently won 2nd place in the Business Growth Category Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) Regional Finals. At the National Finals, she won 3rd place in the same category. She also had AmberL product placement in New York City in connection with emerging Caribbean brands and received support from the Bahamian Consulate General in New York for entrepreneurship in 2022.
