There is nothing more elegant and delicate than a French macaron. Its firm yet smoothly finished top and bottom cookie, holds a delightful filling in a variety of flavors from chocolate, cappuccino and pistachio to mint, french vanilla and lemon. As a sweet treat, I was given a sampler in honor of International Women's Day and I couldn't be happier. What woman doesn't love sweets! Sugar Bliss Boutique had a fascinating duo of salted caramel as
well as vanilla filling which were found betwixt two rose and light mocha colored macarons. The vanilla macaron had an extra pop as it was dusted with a shiny gold finish. These colorful and decadent bites offered a chewy texture and rich flavor that was good enough to lick your fingers! There's simply no way you can eat just one!
The first time I tasted the macarons from Sugar Bliss was last summer, in Lemon Raspberry.
The macarons had a short cookie texture and the smooth filling had a wonderfully refreshing lemon and raspberry scent. There are a variety of flavors to whet your sweet tooth including lemon, guava, hazelnut, smores, eggnog, moscato and ferrero rocher.
